Website Downtime during the Summer

Hello folks,

Sorry for the downtime on the website..
During WordPress 2.0 -> 2.5 update back in May, there were some file/database corruption.
Please bear with us, as we are still fixing the problems but the database was backed up.

My term is ending soon, so I want to make sure that it works before my successor takes over :)

KP Primary Board 2008-09 Elections

Please read everything and try to watch the responses of the candidates to get a better idea.

This online voting is designed to make the election process more visible and accessible so that the general body opinion is more fully represented.

Online voting is open from Tuesday, April 22 – Thursday, April 24. Online voting will end promptly at 8pm on that Thursday. There will be no in-person voting during this election. Please be sure to watch the candidates’ Q&A linked below.

Rules and Regulations:
(1) MUST be a KP member to be eligible to vote. This is defined as having attended at least one KP-sponsored event or being on the KP listserv.
(2) MUST be a registered UCSD student. KP members who are not enrolled may NOT vote.
(3) NO multiple voting allowed. Each member is only allowed to vote once and any other votes will be discarded.
(4) NO fraudulent voting allowed. Dishonest names, personal identification numbers, emails, and other information will lead to vote disqualification.

Voting Ballot

The chairs and vice chairs will be consistently surveying the online votes to ensure the votes are legal and honest. They have the right to disqualify any vote that does not follow the clear directions listed on this ballot. For confidentiality’s sake, they will not have access to the votes made by each person.
