News (via Twitter)Fresh to KP? Sign up to be a Kuya/Ate/Ading for the school year. The Kuya/Ate/Ading component provides veteran-member mentors to the incoming freshpeople to facilitate their college transition. This component inspires a sense of family so as to instill values of support and unity amongst its members. The Kuyas and Ates encourage the Adings to get engaged and make positive and progressive change within the community.
Applications are due Wednesday, January 20.
The Asian Film Foundation is opening up their Internships for 2010. The foundation is looking to get a good number of Interns in for the upcoming year. They’re pretty varied, ranging from (of course) Film Programming, Non Profit Management, Youth Coordination, Marketing and PR, and Outreach. Below is a sheet that lists out what Internships are currently available. They’re usually unpaid but they come with really good benefits (tons of networking and good ways to get letters of recommendation) + College credit if someone needs it! IMPORTANT: The Asian Film Foundation is especially looking for someone to be our UCSD Rep for the upcoming year.
