Hey KP! The new Winter Star Apps are out! If you’re wondering what’s new about it that wasn’t in Fall’s Apps its the addition of Study Groups!!! Now you can can be a part of a study group and help others and get help! So don’t miss out on this!

Also, did you want a kuya/ate/ading or peer counselor but missed out on the chance to get one last quarter?? You can still get a kuya/ate/ading and a peer conselor this coming winter quarter! But you gotta fill out the KP STAR Winter Application! So what’re you waiting for!! Do it! Now!

The applications are due in Week 2 of winter quarter! So ya’ll should hurry up and do them!

Friendship Games Tickets!

hey everyone, here’s a heads up! we’re going to start selling tickets for Friendship Games.

starting Wednesday, tickets will be $25 and will increase by $3 every four days.

October 5th – October 9th: $25
October 10th – October 14th: $28
October 15th – October 20st: $31

*reminder, Friendship Games is October 21st – 23rd! day-of purchases will cost you $40.

THE FIRST 20 PEOPLE TO BUY A FRIENDSHIP GAMES TICKET WILL ONLY BE CHARGED $20! (only Karen Yu can give you the discount. say wassup to your Financial Manager! :D cash or checks made to Kaibigang Pilipino only, and you can’t tell Karen “oh this is for me and So-&-So,” unless you and So-&-So are actually THERE.)

AIDS Walk San Diego 2011

Hello Everyone!

If you’re interested in donating and/or participating in the AIDS Walk: San Diego 2011, one of our fellow KP members, Melita Acosta, can help you!

Melita is currently an intern for Operation Samahan, and she is responsible for fundraising and recruiting walkers for the AIDS Walk.
