KP is noted to be the first student organization to serve the Pilipin@ and Filipin@-American community in UC San Diego. In the present time, KP is also known to be one of the largest, most structured, and successful student organizations on campus; but the journey has not been easy. In the span of 25 years, there has been a lot of struggle, trial and error, and obstacles that KP has experienced that has shaped the organization into what it is today.
