Founded in 1987, Kaibigang Pilipino, meaning “Friendship of Filipinos,” began as a social gathering for Filipinos to feel comfortable on campus. 20 years later, KP has evolved, and continues to evolve, into an organization which serves the Filipino community of the greater San Diego area through 5 core values encompassed by SPACE: social, political, academic, cultural, and experience. This organization is a space for all individuals to find a family at UCSD, to learn about themselves, and to make a difference in the community.

General Body Meetings are every odd week Wednesdays at 6pm at the Comunidad Room of the Cross-Cultural Center on the second floor of Price Center East.
